THE WIG PAGEANT VARIETY HOUR

Writer/Producer/Performer

One wig. Seven Performers. ONE CHAMPION.

Each month, seven new performers compete in the soon-to-be World Famous Wig Pageant hosted by F list celebrity Vince Michael LaFontaine and former pageant queen, Miss Charlesss Mayhew Millér-LaFontaine (Charles Miller), in hopes of being crowned. Each performer is given the same wig and a slot to perform a piece as the character they have developed with the wig. At the end of the pageant, the audience chooses the winner of this month’s pageant.

Each month there is a new performers and a new wig.

Following the end of pageant season in April, all of the crowned winners will compete in a fabulous, never before seen GRAND FINALE to see who will be crowned the inaugural MISS WIG! First Thursday of every month, join us for the world’s most famous pageant you’ve never heard of.

SMOKE N' SHAKE
THEATER

Producer/Performer

Smoke n’ Shake Theater is a theater collective (or at least one in the works) focused on putting on works that strive to tell stories in an engaging, intimate, comedic, and fun fucking way, emulating rowdy, social Victorian Theater etiquette in a modern Brooklyn way. No pretentiousness. No frills. Just immersive, intimate, exciting barebones theater. Oh yeah- there’s weed involved too. Think of this as a “theater-of-the-senses” that allows audience members to be immersed and as stoned as they want to be. We loosely follow the Chicago Backroom Shakespeare model which means little to no direction, only 2 rehearsals, wacky stupid work done by serious players, and done at a cannabis lounge.

HOT GOSS

Writer/Producer/Performer

The 75th annual Shaker Heights Historical Society Gala Extravaganza is well underway and local lead historian Morris Richardson (Gus Mahoney) in a last ditch effort to save the Historical Society from budget cuts presents a theatrical version of one of the hottest pieces of gossip from his time living and working in the infamous suburb of Cleveland, Ohio: Shaker Heights. Along with real-life former Shaker Heights resident Katie Wilkinson, Shaker Heights' only drag queen, Miss Churles (Charles Miller), and some very enthusiastic members of the high school theater department (Frankie Goodman, Isa Guitian, Ishmael Gonzalez, and Brendan O’Leary), Morris sets out to prove that history can be cool.

Performed at  Brooklyn Comedy Collective twice in March and May 2023

PARENT TRAPPED!
A SEMI-GAY FANTASIA ON SOMEWHAT NATIONAL THEMES

Writer/Producer/Performer

Two 20 something aspiring stars meet in a dive bar bathroom in the east village and convince themselves that they're long lost twins. They then use this information to launch themselves into stardom, but what happens when the fake twins fly too close to the sun (ie. the A list)? The show parodies celebrity culture and, of course, pays homage to the best film of the 21st century thus far, “The Parent Trap” starring Lindsay Lohan!

The first development of the show went up at the Brooklyn Comedy Collective at the end of August 2022 as apart of the WOOFs program.

A full show will be performed in Fall 2022 at the BCC.
